Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast,   Soundgarden, & The White Stripes Made the List in the performers Category...

CLEVELAND, OHIO (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT APRIL 27-November 08, 2025)-The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation unveiled last April 27, its 2025 Class of Inductees of world-class pioneers, Icons and music legends who have contributed in the evolution of sound of Rock & Roll.

The announcement was delivered live on ABC by Ryan Seacrest on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame episode of “American Idol,” setting the stage for a sensational & global celebration of the music’s highest honor on Nov 08, in Los Angeles. 

“Each of these inductees created their own sound and attitude that had a profound impact on culture and helped to change the course of Rock & Roll forever,” said John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Their music gave a voice to generations and influenced countless artists that followed in their footstep. 


The 40th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 8, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

 Joe Cocker

Joe Cocker (1944–2014) was an English rock and blues singer known for his gritty, heartfelt voice and charismatic energy on the stage that captivated the audience with the mix of his authentic personalty, body language, and full hearted voice that engaged his audience emotionally whenever he performed.

Cocker came to prominence with the single from the Beatles " With a Little help from My Friends" reaching #1 in the UK (1968) that became a standard for numerous live shows like " Woodstock, the Isle  of Wight (1969), the Party at the Palace (2002) and the theme song of the 

US Tv Series " The Wonder Years" in 1980.

In 1974, Joe Cocker released his single " You Are So Beautiful " which reached #5 in the US and became his signature song of his career.

Cocker collaborated with Jennifer Warnes on a duet hit single " Up Where We Belong"  that became an immediate hit #1, in the US charts and best-selling song that earned a Grammy Award in 1983. Joe Croker recorded a total of 22 studio albums during his 43-year recording career.​​​​​​

Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Bad Company, and Outkas of the Performer category inductees were on the ballot for the first time, while Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes have all been nominated before.
