MIAMI, FL (SMI-GLOBAL-SPORTS-JUNE 11-JULY 19, 2026)-England overcame # Norway 2-1, with 2-goals by Jude Bellingham in the quarter-final knockout game, to help "The Three Lions" advance to the semifinals and face Argentina who beat Switzerland 3-1, in the other quarterfinal match next Wednesday July 15, at 15:00PM at Atlanta Stadium.

After Both teams lock-up their defensive line in the first 30' minutes of play, Norway's Andreas Schjelserup through the leftside corner ran with the ball inside the box, and shot a curled left-footed missile hitting the far upper right goalpost corner in back of the net to put "The Vikings " 1-0, at 36' mark.

With the game clock winding down in the first half, England's Anthony Gordon through the leftside field crossed the ball to towards top of middle of the box connecting with Jude Bellingham who carried the ball inside the box and score with a lower left-footed the equalizer at 45+1, at the half.

Both teams traded counter-attacks during the entire second half without either one finding the back of the net sending the game into 2-extra period.

 

England on its third counter-attack of the first extra period and through the leftside field, midfielder Eberechi Eze sent a rolling to pass to the middle connecting with Morgan Rogers who shot a right footed from 30-yards away towards goal deflecting off goalkeeper Orjan Nyland (Norway) gloves to Jude Bellingham who anticipated and score with a lower right footed inside the net for his 6th goal in the World Cup and seal the 2-1, victory for The Three Lions at 93' mark.
