NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT AUGUST 06-10, 2026)-The crew and newest cast of the Apple Tv+ Award-winning sports-comedy drama series " Ted Lasso" attended the special screening and discussion of latest  Season 4, premiere with creators; Jason Sudeikis & Brendan Hunt @ Paley's Museum in NYC.

 

The discussion and screening took place on Thurs. Aug. 06, as part of the Paleylive special program series, moderated by 2-time USWNT (United States Women's National Soccer team) FIFA World Cup Champion " Megan Rapinoe ",  and the Newest cast in attendance:Tanya Reynolds('Alice Chilton") , Faye Marsay ("Lizzie"), Abbie Hern (Gemma), Judy Mack("Boots") Paloma Cinco(cast) and Juno Temple (Returning cast " Keeley Jones").

The critically acclaimed Apple Tv+ original series " Ted Lasso"  is a US sports-drama-comedy series Co-created by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence and Brendan Hunt that premiered its first season with 10-episode on August 14, 2020.

 

The series narrative is about a US university Football head coach named Ted Lasso who is hired surprisingly to lead a fictional English Premier soccer team, "A.F.C. Richmond"  without having any knowledge or experience coaching the sport of soccer.

 

Team's owner Rebecca Welton (Played by Hannah Waddingham), who acquired the team during a divorce from his cheating ex-husband Rupert, hired Ted Lasso in false pretense, hoping secretly that he will fail and demise the team to punish Rupert who cherished the "A.F.C. Richmond " more than anything; but his optimism, humility and humor wins everybody over, proving everyone wrong by leading the team to a successful campaign at the end of season 3.

In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would. 

 

"Ted Lasso" series has received critically acclaimed -status with a total 61-Primetime Emmy-Award nominations ( 20-First Season,2021), (20-Season 2, 2022) & (21-Season 3, 2023) and claiming 13-overall during the 3-seasons combined.In addition to the Primetime Emmy awards, also received Two Golden Globe awards, Three Screen Actors Guild Awards, Two Writers Guild of America Awards and Seven Critic's Choice Awards.
