July 09, at Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Morroco, also known as " The Atlas Lions" and who represent Africa Continent in the tournament, defeated Co-host I* Canada 3-0, dominating the midfield and executing a strong offensive attacks in the second half that resulted in

3-goals to secure the win and punched the ticket for Morroco to the Quarterfinals rounds.

Canada went to the offensive from the start and seemed the control the pace of the game first half with numerous counter-attacks but could not find the back of the net despite its control ending the first period scoreless.

​

"The Atlas Lions" on its first major counter-attack through the right-side corner, and during indirect-kick, defender Achraf Hakimi ( Paris Saint-German / considered one of the best Right-back player in the World) crosse a rolling pass to the top of the 18' intended to Azzedine Ounahi who score with a low right footed canon in back of the net near the right goalpost to put Morocco 1-0, at 50' mark.

Canada tried to find its composure and control the ball with numerous counter-attacks but could not finish it.

​

With 8' left in the game, Morocco' s Chemsdine Talbi sent a long to pass through the right to Brahim Diaz, who inside the penalty box, evaded 2-defenders and passed a short pass to Azzedine Ounahi who score with a right footed to the near goalpost for his second goal in the match, and give " The Atlas Lions" 2-0, lead at 82' mark.

With game-clock winding down, and final counterattack through the middle, Brahim Diaz passed it to Soufiane Rahimi who score with a left footed to the far goalpost to secure and seal a 3-0, for Morroco.
