DALLAS, TEXAS (SMI-GLOBAL-SPORTS-JUNE 11-JULY 19, 2026)-Egypt who is representing the African Continent in the Global FIFA Tournament defeated Australia 4-2, in penalty kicks after the games ended 1-1, in regular and 2-extra periods, and front of a sold-out crowd of 70,244 spectators, advance to the round of 16, to face World #1, Argentina at Arlington, Texas.

Egypt also known as " The Pharaohs " went to offensive from the start, and on it's first major counter-attack through the right-side corner, defender Karol Hadez sent a center inside the 18' connecting with Emam Ashour who score with a header to the near left goalpost to give "The Pharaohs " 1-0, at 14' mark.

With the time winding down in the first period, Egypt's Omar Marmoush on a final counter-attack and during a breakaway inside the box shot a right-footed hitting wide of the right goalpost out bound to closed-out 1-0, for Egypt at the half.

Ten minutes into the 2nd half, Australia score the equalizer at 55', when Aiden O'Neill sent a indirect kick inside the 6-yard box with Egypt's Mohamed Hany head in the ball inside the net for (OG) and level the game 1-1.

Both teams traded counter-atracks the rest of the game including the 2-Extra period without finding the back of net to conclude the game 1-1, and send the game into penalty kicks to determine the winner.

Mohamed Salad, Mahmoud Saber, Ramy Rabia and Hossam Abdelmaguid scored for Egypt during the penalty kick in the Round 32, and sent "The Pharaohs" into the round of 16, to face World #1, Argentina, Tuesday July 07, 2026 at 12:00PM Noon at Atlanta, Georgia.
