LOS ANGELES, CA (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JAN 22-MARCH 15, 2026)-The winners of the 98th Academy Awards were announced during an award ceremony hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien with " One Battle After Another " leading the pack with 6-Awards including Best Director, best Picture and Best Writing, "Sinners" followed with 4 and "Frankenstein " grabbing 3-Awards to register the first three top-winners at Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

" One Battle After Another " won 6-Oscars; Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Sean Penn won for best Supporting Actor, Andy Jurgensen for best editing, Cassandra Kulukundis for best Casting, and Somner , Murphy and Anderson for Best Picture.​

"Sinners" won 4-Oscars: Michael B. Jordan won for best actor in leading role, Best Original Screenplay, Best Music Original Score, and Best Cinematography.

 

" Frankenstein"  won 3-Oscars : Best Production Design, Best Make-Up & Hairstyling and Best Costume Design.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences who honors the excellence in filmmaking celebrated its 98th annual Oscars awards with a live ceremony hosted by US comedian Conan O'Brien on Sunday March 15, announcing the winners in 24-categories globally on ABC & streamed on Hulu to the world from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
