NEW YORK, NY-LA, CA(SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT AUGUST 05-SEPT-08, 2025)-MTV & CBS network announced the winners of the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards known as "VMAs" last Sunday's evening September 07, during an award ceremony & performances of iconic artists and nominees with Lady Gaga winning 4-VMAs including for Best Artist of The Year, followed by Arianna Grande grabbing the Best Video of The Year and Sabrina Carpenter obtaining the best album of the year with both winning 3-VMAs each at

UBS Arena in Elmond NY.

Lady Gaga who received 12-Nomination won 4-VMAs:

Best Collaboration - “Die With A Smile” 

Best Direction - “Abracadabra” & 

Best Art Direction - “Abracadabra”

Ariana Grande (7) who received 7-nominations won 3-Vmas

Video of the Year - “brighter days ahead”

Best Pop - “brighter days ahead”

Best Long Form Video - “brighter days ahead”

 

Sabrina Carpenter who received 8-nominations

Best Pop Artist 

Best Album - Short n’ Sweet

Best Visual Effects - “Manchild”​​​​​​​

Tate McRae who received 4-nominations won 2-VMAs for Best Editing & Best Song of the Summer “Just Keep Watching (From F1® The Movie)” WINNER

First-time nominees ROSÉ, who received 8-nominations won the VMAs for best song of the year, Katseye won the MTV Push Performance Of The Year and Alex Warren grabbed the best new artist of the year.

Legendary music icon , Mariah Carey was honored with the 2025 MTV Vanguard Award and also won a VMAs for Best R& B with her single " Type Dangerous " while

Shakira won the VMAs for Best Latin.​​​
