LOS ANGELES, CA (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS JULY 17-SEPT 16, 2024)-The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners in 25+ categories of the 77th Primetime Emmys Awards with NetFlix Mini-series " Adolescence " winning 6-awards, followed by Apple Tv+ Series "The Studio" grabbing 4, & HBO/Max "The Pitt " obtaining 3-awards during an Award ceremony hosted by Nate Bargatze, and broadcasted live on CBS & Paramount + from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

The NetFlix's Adolescence series won 6-award in the category Limited Or Anthology Series :Philip Barantini won the Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, Outstanding Lead actor,  Outstanding Supporting Actor & Actress​.

The Apple Tv+ series" The Studio " won 4-award in the Comedy Category: Outstanding Comedy Series, Seth Rogen won his first Emmy for best Lead actor, Outstanding Directing & Outstanding writing in comedy series.

 

The HBO/Max's " The Pitt" won 3-awards in the Drama Series category: Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama series, Outstanding supporting actress & Outstanding Drama Series.

In addition to the Emmy winners, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen were honored with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, one of the highest honors presented by the Television Academy's Board of Governors. 

 

Television tributes this year included: the 50th season of Survivor, the 20th anniversary of ABC's long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy, the 35th anniversary of Law & Orderand the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls.
